Your Ultimate Anti-Aging Routine

READY TO NAIL YOUR SKINCARE ROUTINE? YOU'RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE.
There's really no such thing as being "too young" to prevent and target premature signs of aging like pigmentation, fine lines around the eyes, and dulling skin. Start as soon as possible, even if your anti-aging regimen is as simple as a cleanser and sunscreen. As the sun and UV exposure is responsible for so much of the skin’s visible signs of aging, protecting against sun damage is the single most important thing you can do to protect against premature signs of aging.
With age also comes a reduced production of sebum. While this means a lesser risk of acne, it also means your skin will dry out more easily making fine lines and wrinkles more pronounced – especially in areas where the skin is thinner such as around the eyes and lips. Committing to a good skincare routine will help to address and slow the signs of aging!
ANTI-AGING TIPS
SPF - As the sun is the biggest culprit of premature aging, SPF is a mandatory step in any anti-aging skincare routine. In fact, it's so important that it should be a mandatory step in any skincare routine. Period.
VITAMIN A - Otherwise known as retinoids, using a vitamin A derivative is the next most important step in an anti-aging routine after SPF. Retinoids help to prevent new wrinkles from forming, smooth out fine lines and help to decrease pigmentation through cellular turnover.
VITAMIN C - Is a powerful antioxidant that works to protect skin by soaking up the biological and environmental oxidative stress that builds up to cause aging.
MOISTURISER - Look for a moisturiser that contains water-binding humectants like glycerin and hyaluronic acid. Occlusive formulations can be used at night to prevent water evaporating from skin, but use with caution as occlusive formulations can trap bacteria and clog pores.
